OUR STORY
The Property Oversight grew out of more than three decades spent solving the same problem for property owners, again and again: too many hands on a project, too little accountability, and no single person answerable for the outcome. As a chartered engineer and MRICS surveyor working across London, Italy, and Spain, we saw how easily oversight gets lost between agents, contractors, and management companies, each incentivised differently, none fully accountable to the owner.
We built this practice to close that gap. Every survey, every maintenance programme, and every refurbishment we manage is overseen personally, by one chartered professional, from first assessment to final sign-off.

THE PRINCIPAL

I have a multinational background in residential property management, technical maintenance, project management, refurbishment control, and architectural and interior design advisory.
Since 1992, I have been managing and overseeing residential properties across Italy, Spain, and London. My experience covers the full technical and operational lifecycle of a property, including planned and reactive maintenance, building condition assessments, refurbishment and renovation projects, contractor coordination, cost control, quality assurance, and compliance monitoring.
I have developed particular expertise in supporting international property owners and buyers, helping them assess technical risks, plan necessary works, control project delivery, and protect the long-term value and performance of their assets.
My approach combines engineering precision, RICS professional standards, and practical experience in managing complex residential property and refurbishment projects. I believe that property ownership, particularly abroad, should be well organised, transparent, and free from avoidable uncertainty.
Together with my team, I provide independent, client-focused advice based on clarity, thoroughness, and strong technical oversight, helping clients make informed decisions and avoid costly maintenance, construction, and project-management problems.
In practice, this means clients appoint The Property Oversight as their client-side project manager: we coordinate and instruct on your behalf, while you retain direct contractual relationships with the contractors.
